US double standards
Recently the court in India announced the verdict in Bhopal Gas tragedy that happened on Dec 3,1984 in which around 20,000 people were killed. The court verdict din't say anything about Warren Anderson, CEO of Union Carbide at the time of the disaster. It is ironic that Warren Anderson was flown out of India in government plane under US pressure just after the disaster. The compensation paid by the company to the victims was just $500.
Now my question is this, while Obama talks about taking strict action against those responsible for the Oil leak why is he silent on the Bhopal issue where thousands of people were killed. The court verdict has become a raging issue and there is tremendous pressure on the government to extradite Warren Anderson.
